Wellness Exams Is Where It Starts

Routine wellness exams are essential for detecting health issues and long-term well-being early. Because pets age faster than humans, we recommend yearly exams, more often for seniors. We assess heart and lung function, joints, vision, hearing, and overall health during each visit. These exams help us catch problems early, track changes, and ensure your pet stays healthy, active, and thriving at every life stage.

Health Care Needs Change As They Age

Lifestage Wellness

As pets age, their healthcare needs change. We offer Puppy and Kitten Wellness Packages with nutrition, preventive care, and behavioral support. Adult and senior pets face greater health risks, such as heart disease and diabetes. Early detection through regular exams—especially every 6–8 months for seniors—helps prevent illness, reduce suffering, and support a longer, healthier life. Preventive care at every stage is key to lifelong well-being.

Pet’s Preventative Health Care Plan

Vaccinations

Vaccinations are vital to your pet’s preventive care. We tailor vaccine protocols based on your pet’s lifestyle, age, and risk factors. After completing initial puppy or kitten vaccines, we recommend regular boosters—yearly for certain diseases and every 3 years for core vaccines like rabies and DHPP (dogs) or FVRCP (cats). Not sure what your pet needs? Our team is happy to help guide you through the right vaccination plan.

We Carry Leading medications & Preventative Medicines

Parasite Prevention

Parasites can go from being an inconvenience to seriously damaging your pet’s health. Internal parasites (hookworms, heartworms, and roundworms) and external parasites (ticks and fleas) are common in pets. Some of these parasites can go from your pet to you or your family (zoonotic).

To stop parasites from harming your pets and family, prevention is necessary. We recommend routine exams and laboratory testing to screen for parasites. We carry many of the leading medications and preventative medicines, on-hand and available at our practice. We will help you determine which product will work best for your pet.

Track Your Pet

Microchipping

To ensure that your pet returns home safely, you should ask us about microchipping. Microchipping is a safe and effective way to be reunited with your pet if they are lost or leave home.

Microchips are implanted into your pet’s skin during a process similar to vaccination. Each microchip is encoded with information about your pet that is tracked in a national database. Veterinary hospitals, clinics, and shelters nationwide have special scanners that can detect and read the microchips. If your pet goes missing, their microchip is scanned, and the information is used to return your pet home safely.
